Though almost 5 weeks later than planned, this weekend’s program originates from the beautiful mountains of Northeast Georgia. On the first segment of the program, Bob shares some of the things that were happening that were the cause of their delay in traveling. Bob, who is a native of New York, shares his memories of the first time he ever was in the State of Georgia in 1973, and how many things have changed over these years, yet how many things have stayed the same. Also on the program, Bob shares his thoughts about the future and direction of the show. In the final segment of the program he addresses one of his biggest concerns for the church in the Western World, that being the “thin-ness” of so much of what passes for music in the church today, and he shares the soundtrack of an excellent satire on what some of today’s Christian lyrics sound in a dramatic read, by a famous Hollywood actor. It truly is humorous but thought-provoking.
